Domenico Giordano (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy, in May 2007. Since December 1, 2010, he has been a Researcher, permanent position with the Quality of Life Division, Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica (INRiM), Turin. His research activities are focused on the development and characterization of systems and voltage/current transducers for calibration and power quality measurements on medium-voltage grids and on railway supply systems, on the calibration of energy meters for onboard train installation, and on the study of ferroresonance phenomena. Moreover, he is involved in the development of generation and measurement systems of electromagnetic fields for calibration and dosimetric purposes.
