Enrico Pons received the master’s degree in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. in industrial safety and risk analysis from Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy, in 2004 and 2008, respectively. He is currently Associate Professor with Politecnico di Torino, where he teaches electrical installations. His research interests include complexity in energy systems, power systems security, complex networks methodologies for the real-time analysis of power systems, integration of renewable generation in distribution networks, traction electrification systems and electrical safety.
